What is Kybella®/PCDC

Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occuring substance produced by our body to help metabolize the fat we consume as a part of our diet. The mechanism of action involves destroying fat molecules through a process called lipolysis. Once the fat cells are broken down, the body will metabolize the debris and the fat will be permanently gone. Kybella®/PCDC injections are administered in a customized pattern based on degree of submental fullness and after a thorough assessment. Your injector will determine the best treatment course for optimal results and how many treatments will be necessary to achieve your goal.
