The Lux Filter Facial treatment is a revolutionary way to strategically place Botox, Hyaluronic Acid, PRF (platelet rich fibrin) and vitamins into the skin of the face and neck. The Lux Filter Facial device is made of needles which are finer than the human hair, making this a pain free procedure.
A Special Blend Of Customized Ingredients
Our blend of biologicals and vitamins tighten, lighten, and promote a clear complexion. A typical “cocktail” consists of a neuromodulator, a hyaluronic acid filler, antioxidants, and peptides. We may also create a more natural cocktail using PRF, or platelet rich fibrin. PRF is obtained from a small sample of your blood to harvest powerful growth factors for collagen stimulation.
Results You’ll Love:
You’ll start to notice skin smoothing and brightening within the first 3-5 days with continued improvement for 2 more weeks. Results typically last 3-4 months. Plan to receive the Lux Filter Facial treatment at least a week before an important event to enjoy the benefits of glowing smooth skin.
Is There Downtime With The Lux Filter Facial?:
Following the procedure, there may be slight redness which typically resolves within a few hours. Otherwise, there is no downtime!
Will The Lux Filter Facial Prevent Muscle Movement?
The Lux Filter Facial does not replace the need for regular Botox injections to minimize expression lines. During the Lux Filter Facial treatment, the dose is smaller, spread out over a larger surface area, and placed in the dermis- not the muscle. You do not need to worry about any frozen faces or loss of motion with this treatment. The use of intradermal Botox for skin conditions has been routinely used for several years and its efficacy and safety has been documented in scientific journals.
Are You A Good Candidate For The Lux Filter Facial?:
The best candidate for the Lux Filter Facial should be in good overall health and wish to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scars and other skin imperfections.
Who Is NOT A Candidate For The Lux Filter Facial?:
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active skin infection, bleeding disorder, take blood-thinning medications, have a history of keloid scars or active acne, the Lux Filter Facial may not be the best treatment option for you.
Preparing For Your Lux Filter Facial:
Precare:
We highly recommend a hydrafacial prior to treatment. The hydrafacial will “deep clean” the pores and remove dead skin cells to allow the Lux Filter Facial infusion to penetrate better and more evenly. You can arrange to have the hydrafacial the same day, just ask when booking your appointment.
Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Refrain from any direct sun exposure prior to treatment. You cannot receive this treatment if you are currently on Accutane.
Postcare:
None! In fact, this is one of the many advantages of this treatment.
However we do recommend the following post treatment guidelines for the best results.
Avoid washing your face the day of treatment - allow the special cocktail time to infuse into the newly created channels!
Avoid putting makeup on after treatment, sunscreen is ok.
Avoid direct sun exposure immediately after treatment.
